Great Divide Trackset & my Annual Chuck Sighting!

It turns out our late start on the Great Divide worked out well. We started from the Lake O'Hara end around 1330 and ran into Chuck. That normally only happens later in the season, so I took it as a good sign.
As he mentioned in his report, the trail was groomed but not trackset. We got lucky, though - they set the tracks while we were there, passing us around 1500, so we were able to use them. Tracks are a little soft but in good condition. Cold temperatures tonight should help set them up. It was -12 when we left around 1630.
Great Divide is now double trackset all the way from the parking on the Lake Louise road to the parking at Lake O'Hara. Yay! Get them while they're fresh!
