Arrived mid afternoon for our first Kananaskis Village ski this season, took Terrance to loop around Kovac on whatever I had wax wise from last week, a poor choice but I'm to impatient to return to our, still insight, vehicle, I'll never learn. Ended that loop back at the paring lot and topped up with several VR45 layers, what a difference! Took Terrace again for Ribbon Creek loop. Avoided the nasty steep section to Hidden and instead took the walking path which had recently been snowmobile packed, reminded me of PLPP Moraine trail apart from the bridges, think I counted 6, one has steps, that was a surprise on skis, all the same it was great fun, I've not skied PLPP for 6 years, by no coincidence that's Jips age. Didn't see another skier the whole trip in as near perfect conditions we can get. Great having the place to ourselves but maybe a few more should be enjoying these conditions especially as grooming had just started when we left
