Discussion:
Great tracks (even before they groomed it) and only saw four dog sleds whizzing by until I ran into my Canmore friends who started from the other end. Lower Telemark and Peyto both need more snow-not tempting me at all. It was maybe -15 when I got back to the car.
It seems there are less people skiing in so many places. Could be the Christmas factor, colder temps, and brutal gas prices. Friend paid $1.08 at Costco a few days ago and I paid $1.48 at Shell Canmore today. Glad to see Shark got re-groomed, but I'm headed for SkierBob Special tomorrow. Let's try and figure out a favourite route of SkierRoger's this season?
