-16 at Upper Boulton and had a good warmup climbing up Whiskey Jack. Tyrwhitt was beautiful but wind started to show on tops of trees; watch out for those solid tree bombs. Quick break at the table and we were ready to ski down Elk Pass stopping to check out so many moose prints all over the various meadows and right to Hydroline Junction. Met Cindy and her friend trying to grab lunch out of the wind at top of the Pass. The next time we saw them, Cindy was carrying our friend's skis as our friend fell skiing on the last section of Elk Pass Trail. Peter also came to our friend's rescue (as we were not aware she had fallen) and helped her most graciously. Big thank-you to all who stopped to offer assistance. I skied as fast as I could back via Fox/Moraine to the car and met them at Elk Pass, as she was wanting to walk the shortest distance possible. By this time the weather had warmed up to -9 and driving home it felt like a Spring day. Not for long but snow conditions were terrific today.
