Whiskeyjack - Tyrwhitt-Elk Pass - Fox Creek - Moraine circuit. Whiskeyjack was great with the fresh grooming. Tyrwhitt and Elk Pass had a mixture of dust on crust and some sizable tree bombs that can be pretty surprising if you are looking behind you for your partner. Traction was best outside the tracks. Fox Creek was mostly ice with the tree bombs becoming frozen speed bumps. We managed OK, but judging by the number of footprints along the trail, others didn't. Moraine was frozen but without the tree debris and bumps. Especially sporty was the hill just south of the viewpoint on Moraine. I am glad we started heading up Whiskeyjack, otherwise we would have turned around early and left.
