Kicking horse & Emerald lake

Yesterday we skied Kicking Horse and today Emerald lake. Conditions right now are very good. All trails are groomed with a small amount of new snow. Some walkers on the ski trails on Emerald lake itself but the rest of the trails are in good shape. We had warm temperatures both days. We used purple V50 violet wax both days which was an excellent choice. Lots of grip on the flats and up hills. Plenty of glide. We had two of our faster ski days without much effort. If you are looking for a great ski the Emerald lake area is in great shape.
