Discussion:

We started up on Tramline by the Bow River. 0C and snowing lightly at 10am. My skin skis worked fine, but Mary's fish-scales were a bit sticky, even with repeated applications of liquid glide wax. After a while, we traded skis which seemed to work better. From the top of Tramline, we headed up Fairview in 4-5cm of fresh snow, somewhat skier trackset. Slow going. By the time we arrived at the Fairview/MLR junction, the flurries had stopped, and the glide was better with little sticking for the return down to the river. A slow but pleasant day overall.
