But mild and light winds. -4 this morning at 8, -1 on return to the car at 330. Light flurries pretty much all day. Improvement on the needle mania situation with a bit of fresh, although still some light debri on fox. Pretty clean sailing after that. 1-2” of new over the old Patterson meadow track and east elk meadows, except more open areas. Only saw 6 people all day, and two of them at east elk pass, entertaining me with stories that can’t be retold. Visitors came in on skinny skis? But still some awkward spots for small baskets. Off the track also iffy collapsing crust. Snowfa H2.0 now has a taller back to protect the head and neck, plus a new medium sized wind wall. Full on comfort for when the next high pressure ridge shows itself.
