PLPP via the Back Door

Discussion:
PLPP for the first time this season. We decided to take the back door to Pocaterra, a good decision because the skier tracks were pretty decent all the way to the picnic table on Tyrwhitt. Air temp was 0 C at the parking lot. I tried my old fishscales, but they were clumping up, so we backtracked, got my rock skis, two coats of VR50 and that worked for the most part. I scraped it off at the turnaround point and had an easy time on the return. Grey skies but no wind to speak of and no needles on the trail. Yipee!
