Hi everyone
I want to welcome everyone to the SkierRoger.ca website. I hope I can do justice to what Skier Bob (Bob Truman) started so many years ago. I want to thank Bob for his extremely generous support on this project. He's a real icon in this sport and I'm humbled to be able to carry on with what he started.
A bit about Jody and I: We have enjoyed cross country skiing for years. Honestly, we're not very good, but that's not the point. One of our favorite places is Shark mountain - it's a nice distance from Calgary and is just beautiful! We really enjoy bringing novice skiers to the area. To me, the sport is half about skiing and half about chatting and laughing. We're all so fortunate to have this beauty around us.
As you peruse the website, feel free to post pictures and descriptions of your trips, or comment on others. I've built the site so that I'm not solely in charge, we all are..
