Discussion:

-10C and windy at the O'Hara end at 10:15 when we started. It was snowing lightly both going out and returning at 1:45 pm. The new track setting of yesterday was substantially blown in, so Ray broke trail to the Divide, where the tracks got quite a bit better and faster. Much of the trail had a bit of wind blown debris (pine needles) in it, especially the north side.
Not many people out today, and all but one started from the east end of the trail. We had lunch at the Lake Louise end and then headed back on skied-in tracks. It was quite a pleasant day, all in all, fairly calm on the Alberta side, so the -8 felt just fine. We were thankful for that one person who was just starting out from the west end, and broke trail for us for 1.5 kms. as our earlier tracks were blown in again.
Looking forward to having Telemark Trail in perfect condition so we can add a bit of variety to this route.
