Winter Wonderland on Cascade

Discussion:
We skied Cascade today for the first time this season. What a treat! There is so much snow!! Mounds of it hanging off the trees! We classic skied today and the groomed tracks were excellent. We skied about 3k past the bridge and the trail was double trackset to the bridge and had one track set past. Past the bridge the trail continued to be packed so would also be good for skate skiing (although not sure how far the packed trail continues). Hills had enough snow there was no fear of ice or going to fast. We started at noon and saw at least a dozen skiers heading back to the parking lot at various points on the trail but no one headed our way at the time. It was -12 at the trailhead and we used Swix V20 Green-worked well!
