On arriving at 3:30, the parking lot was nearly full. I shouldn't have been surprised. My car's thermometer read a balmy -14 C, and a thaw of more than 10 deg was, apparently, sufficient motivation to get people out of their deep-freeze-induced torpor. We could use more snow for some track-setting, but conditions were generally quite good.
Grip wax? We don't need no stinkin' grip wax! OK, "ice blue".
