Elk Pass, Hydroline, Fox Creek: Top Condition

I saw on Nordic Pulse that Elk Pass Trail & Hydroline were trackset yesterday, so off I went. The day was cool and I arrived late in a hope that things would warm up. It was -18 as I arrived at the parking lot.
The Elk Pass trail condition was excellent and better yet, the views were fantastic with a big blue sky. I decided to return via Hydroline; it also was in excellent shape.
I noticed that Tyrwhitt and Lookout – South Side have plenty of snow coverage but are not yet groomed.
Fox Creek trail has some scattered branches but is so pretty it made me smile.
I would highly recommend this route.
