Warmer Day (finally) at Cascade Valley

Discussion:
Due to the recent cold spell, I had to wait to wear off all those holiday sugar plums!
The temperature was a cool -13 as we arrived at the trail head but the sun quickly came out, making for a very pleasant day.
Jody and I really enjoyed skiing with Kevin and Diane who, although being new to the sport, are quickly getting the hang of it. I'm sure they will be recording 20 Km days in no time!
The trail was quiet in the morning but picked up as the day went on. It was great seeing Chuck on our return – this is pretty much his back yard.
