Jamie and I toured trails starting at the Lake Louise parking lot today. We did the Fairview loop counterclockwise. The snow conditions were awesome and the trees are laden with snow. The beauty of our surroundings and the terrific glide made it a quick loop. We crossed the road at Deer Lodge and went up behind the Chateau to ski Upper Telemark. It was freshly trackset, which made it fun. We skied along the 1A. I made it down to the Great Divide and turned around. We returned via the Lower Telemark. This trail has a good skier-set track. It was well-used. Jamie returned to the vehicle and was kind enough to let me ski down the Tramline. He picked me up at the train station. We encountered very little debris anywhere, with great conditions. The temperature warmed up to near 0C. We encountered minimal stickiness on the 1A and the Lower Telemark, but nothing that would ruin our tremendous outing!
