Kevin suggested we try Black Prince today. It had been many years for me since I visited the area so I jumped at the chance.
We arrived at 9:30 am to a cool temperature of -12 degrees but as it was sunny day, it quickly warmed up.
The ski in is really quite pleasant. For those not wanting to go up, up, up, it's still an enjoyable trip to the base of the mountain. A good snowpack remains but as it hasn't snowed for a while, the snow had a slight crusty top.
I managed to break a ski pole on our upward trek which cut our time a bit short. Still a very enjoyable day.
