A few Meanderthals in pursuit of nice snow

Discussion:

Not usually at Natural Bridge on a W/E but most of the people were visiting the bridge. Started at -3 and ended at +1 and snow was clean and lovely. Picnic table at the river had been cleared and was below the snow height. Heard from two fellow skiers that a transformer blew last night at Emerald Lk Lodge. Good thing it was not a night of -26. Stopped in at Truffle Pigs for a beverage after our 14 km. ski. Stopped in to thank Joe for the great grooming and he reported that the sled broke down again at far end of Alluvial Fan. Those residents of Field will do everything imaginable to get all the trails ready for next week's Yoho Challenge. Visit their website under "Trail Reports" and Kicking Horse Ski Club. Felt like Spring had sprung today!
