Discussion:
Mt Shark parking lot almost empty at 9:30am and -2C.
We skied to Spray River bridge and then to Watridge lake. We stashed our skis and hiked to the Karst Springs on packed trail. On the way back we skied around Watridge lake on crusty snow with minimal snow penetration.
On the return we skied all the trail system with the exception of Hercules.
The grooming was very good and nice tracks, my only « complaint » for today was a very poor grip with my waxable skis (my warmer wax is Swix V60 / red) and I had to skate half the time (not ideal with classic skis).
On our way back to the parking lot the temperature was + 3C.
