Discussion:
Despite some early trepidations, we headed to west Bragg this morning. Conditions were outstanding for this time of year, with a couple of centimetres greeting us in the parking lot. We headed up West Crystal line, where the new snow and skier set tracks were a welcome sight. The base wasn't icy and conditions only improved with elevation. We abandoned the moose connector and headed up mountain view, which had greatly benefited from the new snow. Conditions were great all the way up and around mountain view west all the way to the moose loop junction. The north side of moose loop had some icy spots, but not bad, and easily avoided. The trip down the mountain road back to the parking lot was icy, but the snow was definitely an asset. Highly recommend a shot out there before the next chinook takes the trails out again.
