Still great snow up in the mountains in May!
Road clearing has begun... but it will take a while.
The weather forecast was correct... Sunny, after three days of snow.
I used waxable light touring skis starting at minus 5 and ending at plus 10.
And it should be sunny again tomorrow... Enjoy!
 Trailhead does not look promising
 But there are options beside the icy road...
 ...or in the ditch...
 ...or on the road
 Snow removal has only gone 2 Km
 Then there are no more issues
 Strange... Parks Canada seems to have removed the Avalanche Danger sign
 View from the Viewpoint
 My only advice... don't try to hike past the viewpoint
 Worthwhile to ski up the Rockpile
 Bragging Rights
 Returning... he's only gone a few metres since I last saw him.

I did not have my AT (Tua) skis today, but if I had, I'd have been tempted!

Forgot to say that I was able to Skate ski on the solid crust!
