I had hoped to get to the Elk Trap, but it seems I missed this year's window.
Nice to chat with Don (our Banff Park tracksetter) at the trailhead, and thank him for his season's work. Don put the Lake Louise teams to shame... they quit even though it snowed in April!
Skate skiers and Classic skiers were doing better than me... I was on my LT skis.
James and Theresa liked the skate conditions so much that they say they will be back tomorrow!
Graham is hard to pass on his skin skis!
No wonder Don could not get his Skidoo over the Cascade River bridge... Parks needs to buy wider rubber mats!
