Discussion:
The overnight temperature was steady at around -4C at West Bragg Creek, but a blustery Chinook kept the daytime temperature in the +9C range. There have been enough melt-freeze cycles that the snow was both wet and fast. Good grip with fish scales, but good glide as well.
I started out on East Crystal Line-Sundog-Loggers-West Crystal Line, then continued on Mountain View. I turned off on West Meadow, where there were no previous tracks. I broke trail on West Meadow, middle Tom Snow, Moose Loop, Mountain View West and Mountain Road, where I re-joined previous skier set tracks at the Mountain View junction. Trail breaking was very easy.
I did come across several deer, numerous moose tracks, a snowshoe hare and a pair of Sandhill Cranes (too far away for my camera).
There is still lots of snow on most of these trails, but a few bare spots are starting to appear. I'm guessing that the end is near!
West Meadow-Tom Snow junction
Moose Loop... no other tracks!
Mountain View West. Only a set of moose tracks sharing the trail
Mountain Road (west of Mountain View).
