Bill Milne - Great!

Because of another late start, and after seeing on Nordic Pulse that Bill Milne had just been groomed and trackset, we ended up going to Ribbon and skiing Bill Milne. I'm continually amazed at how good a job the guys grooming the trails for us, do.

Temp was +6 in the shade, and much, much warmer in the sun. Tracks were deep, soft in the sun, harder in the shade, but glazing over by the end of the afternoon as it cooled. There were some slow spots where water had accumulated under the snow, but given that it's March and we're still able to ski Bill Milne, I'd say overall it was great. No problems with grip/glide and we were using skin and waxless skies.

Tracksetting and trail conditions are good enough that the tracks should be good for a while, even with the warmer conditions.

Saw one family out walking with a couple of skiers, and one other skier the whole time we were there. It felt like it was our own, personal trail.

Looks like PLPP is getting more snow!
