MYSTIC LAKE CABIN - 32 km return trip in 7 hours on skier set track

Thanks to Rainer's report of their epic trip over Mystic Pass which gave me the encouragement to return to this area.
Surprised that their tracks had already almost disappeared, and how many challenges there were. 5 major avalanche paths, 12 significant creek crossings and around 50 trees down across the trail. But the snow was still in good condition given last night's low of minus 7 and 2 cms of fresh snow overnight.
Just used my Rode Multigrade kick wax (-2 to 0), and some herringbone!
Years ago, Jeannette and I did our longest day ski trip ever... 70 kms from Norquay, through Mystic, Forty Mile Summit, Flint's Park, Cuthead, Stoney Creek and out on the Cascade before dark... ahh, how times have changed!
 My destination today, though I tried to also take in Forty Mile Summit, but I did not want a 12.5 hour day!
