Steve's and Chuck's reports accurately covered the conditions at West Bragg. If you want a tracksetting appetizer, the Hostel Meadow has a 400 metre loop which is trackset and in nice shape. I used Swix VR 45(-2/-8) with good results. The air temperature at 3 pm was -1.
Snowmobiles were warming up at the trailhead as I was leaving around 4 pm. I see that the south trails have now been packed. That includes Sundog West, Elbow, Iron Springs and Iron Creek. Telephone and Hostel are on the schedule for tomorrow(Friday).
