West Bragg was pretty good for early November! I took my light touring skis around Telephone which was packed, with a side trip up the old road that runs toward the Homestead shooting range. Trail breaking was tough in the unconsolidated snow but that road does make a nice ski trail. There were a LOT of rocks on east telephone (some of the hills weren’t skiable) but West Telephone was much better, although there were still a few bad spots. I also went round moose loop and some of the core trails. Conditions were better there, with very nice snow, although still a few rough spots.
