Discussion:

Weather was perfect, but the trail could use some more snow. Rough down the first hill but then very nice except for LOTS of needles and cones. All the waxless skis (Optigrip, skin, fishscale) worked well. Waxing would have caused problems. Once west of the bus shelter, far more needles. Really an excellent day, but I would recommend waiting for fresh snow and some re-grooming.
