Elaine and I went out to West Bragg today, knowing that we´d likely just be doing a hike. Well, there was one helluva wind event out there recently and the damage is substantial. Most hiking and snowshoe trails were littered with windfall of a substantial size and even some of the ski trails were ¨victimized¨. It will take a considerable effort to get the XC trails into shape. Sorry!

Bragg Creek GOOD News!
There is an group of amazing volunteers that will have put in dozens of man-hours by this weekend to clear many high priority ski trails of wind-throw trees prior to resuming grooming operations ASAP. Be advised that visiting WBC is not recommended right now due to hazards and work in-progress on ALL trails until further notice.
