Diane, Kevin, JoLynn and me
Following up on MaSid's report... Yes, there were a ton of people at WBC today. All ages and skill levels were seen.
Almost saw a dog fight before getting out of the parking lot. Reminder to those with dogs: your pet must be leashed before leaving the PRA (Provincial Recreational Park Area). See map below.
We spent our day in the southern area. Sundog Loop, Elbow and Iron Springs.
Pretty cool temperatures when we arrived at 10:00 but halfway through our tour my jacket thermometer said it had warmed up to zero. I too ran into a bit of icing/sticking problems. Those with skins and scales seemed to avoid that issue.
As you might expect after such a busy day, some of the the trails are looking pretty worn & could use a refresh.
Thanks for the fantastic week, groomers!
Outside the PRA dogs may be off leash but must be under control.
The PRA is marked in grey
Elbow trail is always beautiful
