Cascade Valley to Stoney Creek Campground & Warden Cabin - Excellent conditions... early

Discussion:

We were there just before 8:30am and there was nobody there yet! -5°C to start, +6 on the way back.

Grooming/tracksetting was great, almost untouched from the bridge to the campground. Skiing was really good early on, but base was soft and we could hear layers giving up underneath. Skier trackset for the last 700 m to the campground and on the trail to the cabin. Steep and crunchy!

On the way back, it got sticky and a bit tricky in some spots when going down.
