Goat Creek out & back a stellar day!

Discussion:

Stellar day for a Goat Creek out and back from Canmore. Excellent grooming / tracksetting, a bit icy in the morning (like the descent to the Goat Creek "death" bridge and we were in no time having a snack at the 2nd Spray River bridge / bus shelter. From the bus shelter we skied East Spray river and looped back by following the Old Quarry trail / bridge and back on West Spray river.
The return was a bit less fun with some clumping and some catch / release that sent me crashing in a snow bank...
After the ski, we were starving and went for a delicious crêpe at ÉpiCanmore (highly recommended for sweet and savoury treats, including galette / buckwheat crêpes)

PS: it was nice meeting Wendy and Nick
