Marvellous Mt Shark. Fresh groomed tracks, sun , fun and happy skiers

( and many skiers from Bragg Creek Nordic ski club: end of season wrap up 🎿🥳)

Discussion:

Arrived 10:00 am @-4 C . Mt shark parking lot 20 vehicles approx. sunny skies and crisp fresh grooming March 8 very inviting.
We skied Watridge Lake tracks, groomed wide to permit snow shoe hikers safe distance offside. Enjoyed up and down climbs of Hercules under beautiful blue bird skies. Some descents were “Spicy “ ..icy scrapped off snow .
Strong winds blowing tree debris onto tracks …caution require re : catch & release pine needles and hairy moss .

Glad to see some many dogs on leash pulling happy skiers along fast tracks on Watridge trail. All trails fabulous…catch ‘em now and enjoy spring skiing @ best.

All Parking lots WERE FULL @noon +4 C ! A great day for Bragg Creek Nordic ski club wrap up party .

Here’s hoping skin ski season will continue another month or more 😉🎿😎

Hercules for those who love to climb and descend up and down .

Happy skier , fresh tracks, warm sunny skies .

Wind was blowing pine needles onto tracks and snow bombs dropping . The hairy moss tree debris was thankfully only occasional problem. Caution for catch and release in tracks. Let’s hope new snow arrives soon.
