Discussion:
The trails were generally okay given the ski season we’ve had. The backside of Elk is very slick and fast. Blueberry is in relatively ok shape. The snow bombs on the trail add for some challenges on the ski out. Hydro is in good shape. The trails in the morning had a nice dusting of snow. By early afternoon we were fighting some icing up and the stick/slide on our skies. Waxless skies may have worked better. Met a group of 12 backcountry skiers skiing into Elk cabin and a handful of skiers along the trail. Overall a good late season day out.
Total distance: 19.20 Km
