Discussion:

Arriving at the MLR parking lot, we were just in time to see the track-setter begin his work. Happily, we followed the fresh grooming (-2C) in tracks that were a bit slow. Three of us were on skins and two on fish scales and we all found it more work than usual to ski (both uphill and down!) today. The fresh snow was so clean and white, and tracks were soft, so it was a good workout in good company. I found that even with liquid wax over my fish scale skis, I was still clumping and icing on the way down, and on hindsight, should have used waxable skis, as it was only 0C at then end. Still, a wonderful day out in the mountains.

Total distance: 18.00 Km

Heading up on fresh tracks (skier-set tracks on the downhill side)

Lovely snow!

The usual suspect at lunch time
