You are right Chuck! In fact the thermometer that is hanging on the right of the door, I placed there a few years ago. You fooled me by the word Pharaoh.

Helen,
It's only 10.5 km to where Pharaoh Creek joins Redearth Creek... I'm sure you've been to the cabin many times, but just might not know that the wardens used to refer to it as the "Chapel in the Pines"... a most appropriate name I think.

Nice photos Chuck. That bent tree is now fully arched to the ground, as opposed to last Sunday when I skied by it.
Sunday December 19, semi-arched tree

Chuck,
Your many pictures and trip reports bring inspiration and motivation to the skiing community.
Thanks very much for your hard work!

Wonderful photo but quite the LONG ski (how long?) to "Chapel in the Pines". We were hoping to attend Cathedral Church of the Redeemer tonight but rethinking that plan now. Merry Christmas to both of you!!!

Discussion:
Snowing heavily on previous tracksetting.
Disappointing socially, as everybody must have left their shopping for late!
Slow going as my two layers of blue wax started icing.
"Chapel in the Pines" is it's better known name
Starting up the Redearth trail
If you continue up Pharaoh Creek, you'd get to Egypt Lake
Better get back while I can still see my up track!
