Discussion:

Left the Lake O'Hara parking lot at about 0830, temp was -3. Wind was blowing down the hill at about 20 km/hr with snow and fog. No tracksetting or grooming all the way to the lake. Snow going to the avalanche slope was dry and fine, but from the avalanche slope all the way to the lake was REALLY sticky. Even with added glide, I still ended up essentially walking up the hills to the lake.

A Parks Canada skidoo went by, and that sorta helped a bit. The clumpy mess left in the middle of the trail helped scrape the skis. Coming down, though, was pretty rough and uneven.

I've skied to Lake O'Hara many times, but I think this one had the most challenging conditions. Didn't see many people - 4 or 5 women on their way down from overnight camping, and a total of 6 people on their way up.
