CNCPP this AM 10:00 - 12:00. -19C East wind. Parking lots were quite empty.
First time in a month we used wax skis. VR 30 and some Rex Mantaranta worked well.
The refresh of snow and the Grooming & TS made for near perfect conditions especially on the man made snow trails. Tracks are firm.
On the natural snow trails like Silvertip the refresh was more like dust on crust with the new mixed in with the old. Tracks would go from near perfect to margarita type snow within a few meters. Track depth also varies on the natural snow depending on what base is left.
We skied out Banff loop onto Banff and went onto Silvertip where Grey Wolf crosses Banff Tr. Out Silvertip and returned on the same and came back down Banff Trail. Definitely faster out of the tracks today. Our wax was worn down quite a bit at the finish due to the mixture of new and old transformed snow.
