A gigantic tip of the ski cap to both mother nature in all her glory and the incredible groomers at PLPP! We arrived at about 10:30 and my car said -15°, and enjoyed deep, crisp, glidey but also grippy, and beautiful tracks all the way up Elk Pass and across Tyrwhitt and back. My skins loved the snow, and Amelie's wax skis seemed great too. Back at the car at 1:30 and -9°. To all of tomorrow's racers, have so much fun on what is sure to be a gorgeous race day! (And another ski hat tip to Amelie Doucet for skiing 19.5km with me post-COVID, and rocking every km!!)

Blueberry Hill was BEST CONDITIONS EVER!
Fresh Grooming 2 nights ago with 2 cm new snow on top made for easy climbing on Blue wax at -13C and a perfect downhill run.
Foothills Nordic Volunteers were hard at work installing signage for the Great Cookie Race tomorrow along Elk Pass Trail - thank you!
