Starting at the Elk Pass parking lot at 11 am with a few coats of good old blue wax; a fine choice to head up the few steep hills. Good climbing conditions from the Hydroline Junction, on great corduroyed pattern. The fresh snow 3 cm layer was welcome up the Fire Lookout. Stunning views of the Bourgeau Range and Kananaskis Lakes at the top, followed by a cool downhill run on silky snow over Lookout North to Tyrwhitt. Finishing with Whiskey Jack and Moraine.
Kananaskis Lakes from Fire Lookout.
Nice (snow) lid above the Lookout out house.
