Last nights snow has put the finishing touches on this route... take your fast skis!
Parking at the Chateau was a much better choice than the roadside at the MLR.
I used Rode Blue (-2 to -6) with reasonable success, but it was a little slippy given the more moist conditions today.
It was the first time that I have ever been able to tuck it the whole way down the big hill staying in the tracks, which indicates that the snow is a little slow.
Nice to reconnect with so many of our local ski community out there today... have a great season!
Erin & Anthony gave good example by not going beyond this warning!
Access via the Tramline is snowmobile packed and skier tracked
Gaye had the right idea today... Skin Skis!
Busy once you get on the Moraine Lake Road
Foothills Nordic Instructor reminds me that I could improve my technique... nicely!
Hope Anita & Mark share their Grouse sighting, by Comment!
