Discussion:
A cold -20 to start at 10, so headed direct to moose CCW. Warm enough by the time I got to the first picnic table. About an inch of fresh on the table and moose freshly groomed (although chunky in the base of the track). Smoother on mountainview west. Fresh was ungroomed on mountainview so nice and silky in an out of the track. You still have to keep your eyes peeled for the odd ski lift or quickly hop out of track. Off trail travel was pleasant with the minor refresh. Tom snow north/trans Canada trail saw some ski packing by others (the descent at the end of the access meadow was nicely sidestepped smooth, but didn’t give it a go on the LT gear). Should be fine for the “little B’s” though (-:
