Looking forward to the report Mike!

In the meantime let me guess...

I say it's either the Commonwealth loop or Jasper to Lake Louise traverse.

Fantastic Mike. The entertainment just keeps on coming.

MaSid - This diehard just got back from skiing about an hour ago, in compliance with your directive that one's skiing time must be double one's driving time. Haven't had dinner yet! I was NW of where Diana was. Report coming later tonight or tomorrow.

A vicarious thank you to the diehard D’s & C’s. Keeping my eyes peeled for that new snow. Hopefully not that brown pow!

This former "diehard" has been enjoying a good start to the biking season, riding from home in warm sun wearing shorts and tee shirts (mostly). Most years I am keen to ski well into April, often May, but haven't been feelin' it lately. See you in November!

No need to drive for fun, scenery and a workout.

Skiing on two wheels.

It's wildflower time on south exposures.

Brown pow!

Thanks for your interest!
I got back last night from two weeks on the west coast... and in time for today's beautiful weather.
Report coming soon...

Discussion:

If I can’t justify driving to the snow for skiing that may or may not be nice for the knees, sure would be good to at least read about somebody living closer to the snow having a good time. It seems strange not to read reports by Chuck from the high country at this time of year. Is the new car in for warranty work? Out of nut brown ale? Biking the 1A, downhilling at the resorts, or backcountry on the glaciers? Speculation is rampant due to a lack of recent reports.

And P.S.: The “elk pass touring guide for cross country skiers” is still not done. At the mercy of the low budget tech team. But definitely before next season! 🤞
