I'll echo the comments by Helen, Carole and Steve. The conditions at Peter Lougheed Park today were the best of the entire season. Perfect blue wax snow conditions on absolutely outstanding fresh grooming on the Elk Pass-Blueberry Hill area trails. Fox Creek was a total pleasure, with amazing track setting on clean, fast snow. And the off-trail touring to West Elk Pass and Fox Lake had easy trail breaking on a supportive base. We haven't seen much of that this season.
Who knew that the best skiing of the season would happen in April?

Looks like great at Elk Pass. Weather is super warm today in Canmore, so snow will be melting.
How was the ski from West Elk Pass to Fox Lake? Are skins required? I assume you were on LT skis? Thanks, Alf
