-13 at 9:45. Asnes performed well with VR 45 and we motored up to turnaround spot. No evidence of groomers despite cookies in pack. Ran into Frank L, Kent, Neil and Helena today which was lovely. Janice's first ski of the season so we took our time. Lost my previous post "trying" to include a photo. Glad to have Chuck's warning of aggressive lunch mates at turnaround spot: those Clark's and Whiskey Jacks could freak out those timid of birds. One lady we saw walking up the road from Townsite carrying her skis, left us at lunch time and went remainder of way to lake. We would have liked to offer her a ride back down to town but never say her again. No evidence of groomer although tracks were still excellent until I saw a jogger running right IN the tracks and reminded him this "was a definite NO-NO!". Apparently a horrendous car accident T-C westbound around Temple likely mid to late morning. Delayed some skiers by 90 minutes. ?Fatal?
