Did my favourite Bragg lollipop today, so adding some notes to SteveR's report...
Started late, around 1430, sunny-ish and 0 deg.
Lower West Crystal Line - Grooming getting a little old. Icy where the numerous snow bombs fell.
Moose Connector - In slightly better shape than West Crystal.
Mountain Road - In very good shape.
Mountain View West (on the way out) - Double tracksetting is holding up well. It was sunny when I was on it, and had great grip and glide (skin skies, set full forward)
Moose Loop - Double trackset, getting kinda worn, but generally in good shape.
Mountain View West (on the way back) - Things started to get a little interesting when the sun set below the mountains and the temperature dropped below 0. The tracks were more icy, and grip deteriorated quite a bit.
Mountain Road (on the way back) - Fast descent due to hardening snow.
Mountain View - Double trackset in pretty good condition. Descents were fast but easily controlled.
Upper West Crystal Line - Great condition for climbing, and lovely, really fast descent
-5 at the trailhead when I finished around 1800
Total distance: 23.00 Km
